To spotlight Nigeria’s growing role in global digital outsourcing, the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) hosted a high-energy BPO side event at London Tech Week, with Consonance as the technical partner.
Designed to showcase Nigeria’s potential as a global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) hub, the event brought together over 80 stakeholders from government, private sector, and the diaspora for a curated day of bold conversations, pitches, and networking.
The mixer amplified Nigeria’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program while drawing attention to homegrown innovators and operators already exporting digital services at scale. From infrastructure to investment, the sessions explored what it’ll take to transform Nigeria into a global outsourcing powerhouse.
Attendees heard from top voices like Iyin Aboyeji (Andela, Flutterwave) and ecosystem leaders from Outsource Global, Semicolon Africa, and more. But beyond the talk, real connections were made between diaspora investors and Nigerian founders, and some global players even explored new partnership pathways.
Despite coming onboard just in the nick of time, the Consonance team delivered full support — from audience mobilisation and speaker management to logistics, branding, and event-day coordination.
